We're busy

Well, we've finally had to sit down and decide when we're leaving this rock (Hawaii). We have decided that our last full day here will be March 18. The Navy will then be flying us, our cats, our car and all of our stuff to Denver (actually the car only goes to LA). We're cramming as much stuff that we haven't done yet or that we really enjoy doing into the short time that we have left. In the last week we've gone to the zoo, the Pro Bowl, watched Navy ships coming in and out of the mouth of Pearl Harbor, visited the USS Missouri Memorial and the USS Bowfin Memorial. Tomorrow we are going to an all-day visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center, which is full of Hawaiian and Polynesian history and stuff. The day will be concluded with an authentic Hawaiian luau, which I haven't done yet. It should be fun.

We're exercising quite a bit, which is good. Even on the days that we're not out and about, we are sure to go for a walk. While we were in Colorado, we were messing around with a home blood pressure cuff, and mine was really high. I keep meaning to go in and get checked, but I figure they're going to tell me to exercise more, anyway. We're also making an effort to watch what we eat as well.
