The magic of Pink Floyd

I have been asked a couple of times why I like Pink Floyd so much that I'd be willing to tattoo something from one of their album covers on my arm. Normally I can't give you a straight-forward answer, but I will share with you an experience that I just had.

I'm at work right now, and I have had somewhat of a stressful day, but certainly nothing out of the ordinary that I can't handle. It's only 10 minutes from the end of the day for me, and I just finished a task that I'd been trying to get done all day. I listen to the only station I can get on my radio - a classic rock station - and I took a second to rest my head against the back of my chair and shut my eyes. Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd came on the radio and I relaxed. I'm not talking about a sigh of relief type of relax - I mean I relaxed. All of the muscles in my body let go for just a few minutes and my brain just focused on the music and I couldn't think about anything else if I tried. By the time the song was over, I felt 100% refreshed. This hasn't happened in a long time, but Pink Floyd seems to have that effect on me. :-)
