Homophones

A homophone is a word that sounds exactly like another word but is spelled differently and has a different meaning. I bet you never knew that I speak in homophones all the time. For example, if I say to you "Do you want to go to the meeting for me?", I might have actually said "Due ewe want two go too the meeting four me?" Your brain only hears what makes sense to it, so you'll never know what I actually mean!
