Approximately once a week, I experience what I have come to call a "profound discovery." This is something that has been in front of me all along, but my brain has simply never made an association before. The best way to describe this is with an example. Here's the one that just happened about one minute ago.
I was doing some research for school, and I came upon the word "percent." I don't know why I never realized this before, but the word is made up of the words "per" and "cent." Per meaning "of each" and cent meaning "one hundred." Therefor, the word "percent" means "of each one hundred." Which is exactly what it means.
As I said, these happen on average of once per week, and are usually very random. I just thought I'd share :P

oh my gosh, I have something similar. One of those enlightining moments. The other day I was walking down the streets of Chicago and realized that in order to keep warm you need to wear a jacket. That was amazing. Wasn't it?
That's what you get for expecting your jacket to be dry after only one cycle in the dryer!! By the way, the servers have been down for 14 hours now with not much word on when they'll be back up. I'm going nuts!!!

LOL :-) Grr about the servers.
I am level 11 in WOW. It is actually very good. Simple compared to EQ2, but good to say the least.
EQ2 still rules, but hey, I have to admit that this WOW is ok. If I am not bored so far, it must be good.
