I have completed my first week of online college. It has been far more work than I originally thought. It's a lot of reading, the assignments are all online, and the classroom interaction is done through newsgroups (specific email groups for different classes.)
I was looking up all of the other classes that I am going to be taking, and I'm really getting excited. Lots and lots of fun stuff like physics, world religions, and much much more. One of my assignments this week was to pick the topic for my persuasive essay. The class is persuasive writing. I decided to go with picking Intel processors over AMD processors. A lot of the class has picked much more serious topics like surviving abuse, but I really don't see what is persuasive about that.
I really miss Matt. He won't be coming home until December 27th. I'm having somewhat of a rough time without him, but I think a lot of that is because we've really only seen each other for two weeks out of the last two months. That's the Navy for you. I've started looking into jobs, and I've found a couple of potentials, but I really don't feel like it yet. It's nice to have that option lol.
