I had an old friend visit me this weekend. My old roommate, Nick, is a flight attendant with United and gets to fly for free. This past weekend, he visited me. It was great to talk to him in person again. He's the same old Nick and he's one of those friends that it just doesn't seem like years since we'd really last seen each other (we did have dinner in Orlando in November). I wish I could say that I still had friends back home, but there is nobody there that I talk to anymore besides my immediate family.
But it's always good to know that there's someone outside of family that I could still turn to if I really needed it, as he turned to me this weekend.
