Matt and I were on a whirlwind tour of southern Florida for my work. Matt had spring break, so he came along with me. I'm very glad he did, because he just makes everything more fun. He also helped me quite a bit with what I was out to accomplish. We visited six cities in 5 days and had planned on going to the Keys over the weekend, but we were both worn out by Friday that we decided to go home instead. Today was definitely a recovery day, but I had bills that had piled up and tons of reading to do for school (I'm finishing up my degree) and we had to go grocery shopping because we had left the apartment pretty bare before we left.
I wish that we had more time to enjoy Florida. We do plan on taking a vacation to the keys one of these years. There's no rest for me, though, as I'm being sent to Knoxville, TN, on Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully I'll have a month or so at home after that.
