1. Put house up for sale.
2. Sell house.
3. Pay off remaining mortgage and bills and put remaining money in checking or savings account.
4. Quit jobs and say goodbye to family and friends. Tell them you'll send a postcard.
5. Rent U-Haul and pack possessions in U-Haul.
6. Start driving south.
7. Drive until you find an area that suits your fancy.
8. Rent storage unit in new city.
9. Find temporary lodging until you find a home that you like.
10. Find jobs in new (warmer) city.
Optional 11 - do a little dance because you will never have to shovel snow again!
