At 4:00PM at work two days ago, I had just come out of the bathroom and my boss handed me a few papers and told me that I had to go to the lab for a random drug test. I asked him if he realized where I had just come from, and he said that I needed to go right away anyway. I went with two other guys that had been selected, but fortunately for me, the lab was closed.
The next morning, I went to work and picked up the papers and headed to the lab. I gave them a sample, but it turned out that it was too cold. Too cold?!? They told me that I'd have to give another sample. I told them that it might take a really long time, but they said that I had to just stay and wait. I drank 26 cups of water (I wish I was exaggerating) and watched their lab DVD several times. FOUR HOURS LATER I gave them a second sample, and it was also too cold. I had tried explaining to them that my normal body temperature is normally 2 degrees below normal, but they didn't seem to care.
I learned that after 26 cups of water (1.5 gallons), you REALLY have to go to the bathroom. I've never had to go that bad since I was a kid. I felt my kidneys start to hurt. I hope I'm never randomly selected again!
