I have purposely steered clear of this evil knowing some of the problems that I've had in the past. Seeing as how I am a recoving addict, I should have known better. What compelled me to pick up the box in the store is beyond me. I believe that there was a force greater than you or I at work. It's name translated to English literally means "devil." Tonight I found out why.
Yes, I did it. I admit it. I bought Diablo II. And I played it. And played it. And played it. My character is now level 10, after just one night. I barely took a break after eight hours to inhale some leftover tacos. I have managed to quit smoking, I have managed to cut back on EverQuest. I should have known better. I got mad when I got stuck and quit after I died for the fourth time in a row, otherwise I probably wouldn't have posted tonight. But I did take a walk today, to the mall, to get some pictures that I had developed as well as, yep, Diablo.

I'm sure that brother Matt will be thrilled! He's really into Diablo too!
How weird. I almost bought it yesterday while at BB. I also looked at Doom3, but for some reason it did not attract me at all since shooter games are not my thing. Although, the buzz about it from many EQ players is quite the niose. Boys, you know how they are with their testoterone/addrenaline rushes.
Anyhow, I am back to EQ. Sony advised me to keep the accounts open since they cannot refund any dollars if you pre-pay. I had paid for one year in advance, so I am stuck with it for a little while (March 2005).
Hey, I left you another message, so I am not sure why you are not getting them.
From the sounds of it, it seems as if I should buy Diablo 2 if I want to talk to you again. /tee hee.
Hope you are having fun.
By the way, your beach story was a little over the top. Since reading it I now keep a bucket next to the computer in case I need to puke again and can't make it to the BR in time. :-) hehe
